MariMed Acquires iRollie to Support MariMed Brands, Expand into Ancillary Cannabis Service Offerings

MariMed (OTCQB: MRMD) acquired iRollie, including its IP, clients, and its host of products and services. Also, MariMed hired iRollie’s cofounders Luke Shepter and Joe Khoury to expand the iRollie business as well as to bring their expertise and services in house to support MariMed brands and clients. MariMed acquired iRollie and its executives in exchange for $600,000 in MariMed stock.

The acquisition enables MariMed to round out its ownership portfolio with an ancillary business capable of servicing all existing brands and drive new business, partnerships, and revenue.

Emerald Health Therapeutics Signs Cannabis Supply MoU with BC Liquor Distribution Branch

Emerald Health Therapeutics (TSXV: EMH | OTCQX: EMHTF) signed a MoU with the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch (“BCLDB”) to supply its high-quality cannabis products to the BCLDB to serve the adult-use market throughout the province.

Emerald currently has two facilities in commercial production. Emerald’s Pure Sunfarms joint venture has a cultivation site license for its 1.1 million square foot (25 acre) greenhouse in Delta, BC, with 225,000 square feet converted and operating. Conversion of the entire 25-acre greenhouse is expected to be completed before year end. Emerald’s 75,000 square foot Agro-Biotech indoor cultivation facility in Montreal, Quebec is operating with an initial 20,000 square feet.

Kush Bottles Launches New Products

Kush Bottles (OTCQB: KSHB) has launched three new child-resistant product lines, including three proprietary packaging lines, as the company continues to expand its product offering to include more variety and offer cannabis industry vendors more customizable, compliant packaging options.

These new proprietary packaging lines represent the first major products developed by the newly formed Koleto Packaging Solutions.   • Palm N Turn: The Palm N Turn concentrate container is Kush Bottles’ first, proprietary concentrate container that is child resistant certified under Title 16 CFR-1700. The Palm N Turn is available in opaque black or white lids, with clear glass bases. This concentrate container is odor resistant, airtight, watertight, and designed with polyethylene and Teflon liner, to maintain quality products and to prevent leaks. Just like the name, to open, press the lid and base with two palms to turn and release the locking mechanism.
  • UV Glass Concentrate Container: The child resistant UV Glass Concentrate Containers are a solid choice for extract packaging that is child resistant certified under Title 16 CFR-1700. The UV-coated, thick glass and screw top lid with PET (polyethylene) liner adds extra protection and extends the shelf life of the concentrates inside.
